AI Korea Society (AKS) is a fellowship-based community in Seoul. People who use and build AI come together to learn, to connect, and to keep a record. We are preparing to launch in the first quarter of 2027.
A society where anyone can work with AI in their own words.
So that the speed of technology does not become a gap between people, we want to be a community where those who know become a bridge for those who don’t.

An old Korean habit
In the 15th century, King Sejong gathered young scholars in the Hall of Worthies (Jiphyeonjeon). Their research produced Hangul and the Hunminjeongeum Haerye, a book that explained not only what they made but why and how. AKS carries that habit of gathering and recording into the age of AI.

Our annual forum, the admission of new Fellows, and the AI Korea Report.
Fellowship & membership
Fellows are chosen only by nomination and review, and may use the post-nominal “Fellow, AKS” or “FAKS”. Fees are proposed and will be confirmed by the founders.

AKS certificates confirm membership of the Society or completion of a course. They are not professional licences or accredited qualifications.
